MedMat in the Veterinary sector
Date: 07/02/2012
MedMats have started to be used by Vets in the USA and UK with exceptional feedback;
"As you can see from the attached pictures I have continued to use your Medmats with increasing frequency. The above pics are from 2 cases from last week, both of which proved to be very useful. I had not until now appreciated quite the level of absorbency from the initial layer, which I thought was quite impressive and very useful when flushing dirty wounds with copious quantities of saline. We have looked into where these mats would fit into our system and shown them round various different departments. Although at first the demand for their use will not be that great/frequent as change in these sorts of places can often be difficult or it may well be the case of finding the appropriate cases, however that said the response to them so far as be nothing but very positive with people keen to try them and use them more often. Financially they are also very competitive with the methods that we have in place for managing such things, and are also more sterile and more useful. I can therefore only imagine the more we use, the more we will want to use, and also therefore the more uses we will find for them. For example one of the above cases is going to be a long stay patient probably for a couple of months and is currently getting daily bandage changes. Your Medmats are perfect for these sorts of wounds or cases, and would make a big difference to the management of these cases".

MedMat donated to Firefighters in Arizona
Date: 15/07/2011

USA Scottsdale, AZ, June July 2011 Scottsdale-based BR Enterprises and Priority Environmental Solutions help those who risk their lives to fight these terrible fires. The Innovative PRO1TEK® product MedMat donated to Firefighters Battling at the Wallow Fire Zone in Arizona and Las Conchas Fire in New Mexico.
We feel so strongly about the additional application of the MedMat® product in the field that we immediately sent it to the front lines of the scene of the Wallow Fire Zone 3 NE, SE Region for use by the members of the Phoenix fire fighting medical units under the direction of George Reyes, unit leader of the Phoenix Fire Dept through our distributor BR Enterprises. Additionally, product will be moved to the front lines of the Los Alamos, New Mexico fires to help protect and support our firefighters under these extreme conditions.” Reyes and his team appreciate the executives of BR Enterprises for taking the time to make the visit and bring their products to the Wallow Fire in Arizona and looks forward to their assistance in making the firefighters safer in New Mexico.
A new product to the US market the MedMat®, allows first responders to treat patients in the field by providing “a clean sterile surface” in which to carry out a procedure requiring a sterile field and keeping them and their patients safer. The addition of the MedMat® to PES for distributors like BR Enterprises provides another device in the PES systematic approach to infection control and cross contamination for the EMS, military, hospitals, long-term care facilities and home health care markets, where clean environments are essential in reducing secondary infections and the potential of transmitting of the highly infectious bacteria’s such as C-diff and MRSA from one source to another. The unique two-layer sterile system is designed to lead to a more aseptic approach and provides a sterile surface to help reduce cross contamination.
